AISI 316L: a material, not just a finish
In the current VZFX01 stainless-steel design, the body, spout and internal stainless-steel waterways are made from AISI 316L. The alloy is a material specification, not a coating or colour name. Accessories and supplied components are specified by model.
Separate waterways and clear controls
The current VZFX01 has a dedicated filtered-water path and control, separate from the hot/cold mixing circuit. Non-return valves in the cartridge seat prevent reverse flow against the intended direction.

Current VZFX01 taps are prepared for 4-way use and can initially operate as 3-way taps. A compatible sparkling-water upgrade can retain the existing tap. Add the appropriate system and required connections.

Do I need a 3-, 4- or 5-way tap?
A typical 3-way tap combines hot, cold and filtered water. Additional ways can serve sparkling water or chilled still water, depending on the model. The connection layout and connected appliance determine the functions. The tap itself does not filter, chill or carbonate water.
Which connections are included?
This depends on the article number and version. Check the specified scope of delivery. For example, the currently confirmed VZFX011180 version is supplied with three flexible hoses. Stainless-steel connections or special adapters must not be assumed to be included with every model.
How can particles damage a ceramic cartridge?
Very smooth ceramic discs slide against one another to form a seal. Hard particles trapped between them can scratch these surfaces. Deposits may be released by plumbing work or when the water supply is reopened. Correct flushing before connection and appropriate, regularly maintained protective filters therefore matter.
Can this happen downstream of a water filter?
An upstream filter does not prevent every later source of particles. Damaged sintered filter elements can, for example, release hard fragments. Not every filter cartridge is sintered; the actual filtration system and affected component must be examined.
Residual draining or a defect: what should I observe?
Record which outlet is affected, whether dripping stops completely, and how much water collects over a measured period. Limited draining can be residual water; continuous dripping requires investigation. A short video and article number help. If water leaks below the sink, shut off the supply and have the installation checked.
How do I find the right spare part?
Send the article number, a photo of the complete tap and a close-up of the affected component. For multi-way taps, identify the affected water circuit as well. This helps us identify the correct cartridge, seal or connection. Before intervention, isolate the supply and depressurise the system according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
