Advanced Two-Stage Filtration Technology
The Biella system is built around a high-performance two-stage filtration process that combines a PCB 5-in-1 hybrid filter with a reverse osmosis (RO) membrane to deliver consistently purified water.
The first stage uses the PCB hybrid filter to remove suspended particles, chlorine, heavy metals, pesticides and other common contaminants while improving taste, odour and overall water clarity. It also helps protect the downstream RO membrane by reducing the overall contaminant load.
The second stage consists of a high-precision RO membrane that performs deep purification, removing a wide range of dissolved substances including bacteria, viruses, microplastics, pharmaceuticals, PFAS and other organic and inorganic compounds.
Together, these two stages form a balanced and efficient filtration system designed to ensure stable performance, high water purity, and long-term reliability of the overall system.
PCB 5-in-1 Hybrid Filter
The first filtration stage is a high-performance PCB 5-in-1 hybrid filter designed to pre-treat tap water before reverse osmosis.
It removes suspended particles such as dust and rust, reduces chlorine, heavy metals and pesticides, and includes an integrated limescale protection function. In addition, it improves the overall taste, odour and balance of the water, preparing it for advanced purification in the next stage.
This filter also plays a key role in protecting the RO membrane by reducing contaminant load and extending the overall system efficiency.

RO MEMBRANE FILTER
The second stage is a high-precision reverse osmosis membrane, responsible for deep purification of the water.
It removes a broad spectrum of contaminants including bacteria, viruses, microplastics, nanoparticles, limescale, nitrates, hormones, pharmaceutical residues, PFAS, TFA, heavy metals and other dissolved organic and inorganic substances.
This stage ensures the highest level of water purity and is the core purification technology of the Biella system.

UV-LED Disinfection
Microbiological Protection System
The Biella system integrates a multi-point microbiological protection concept designed to ensure hygienic water handling throughout the entire water pathway.
A UV-LED disinfection system is implemented at key stages of the water flow. One UV-LED is positioned in the inlet line between the tap water tank and the pump, while two additional UV-LEDs are located at the water outlets for ROOM TEMP/COLD and HOT WATER. These are activated during filtration and dispensing to provide targeted hygienic protection at the point of use.
In addition, a permanently active tank hygiene module based on silver ion technology helps maintain hygienic conditions inside the tap water tank. This module is designed for long-term use and can be replaced when necessary due to wear.
Together, these systems provide continuous microbiological support across storage, treatment, and dispensing stages, ensuring improved water hygiene throughout daily operation.
Smart Touch Display Control
The Biella system is equipped with an intuitive smart touch display that provides full control over all water functions, temperatures, volumes, and system status in real time. The display integrates both operational controls and system monitoring, allowing users to manage water dispensing, temperature selection, and filtration status through a simple and responsive interface.
Real-time water quality data is shown via integrated TDS indicators for both inlet tap water and purified water after filtration, ensuring continuous transparency of water conditions.
System status icons provide clear visual feedback for key functions, including UV disinfection activity, membrane flushing process, water production status, tank levels, and filter life monitoring.
Dedicated touch controls allow selection of temperature, water volume, cooling activation, and dispensing functions, while additional safety features such as the child lock ensure controlled access to hot water.
Overall, the smart display system centralizes all core functions of Biella into a single, easy-to-use control interface designed for everyday convenience and operational clarity.
Front-Accessible Pure Water Jug System
The Biella system features a front-access removable pure water jug with a capacity of approximately 1.5 liters, designed for the storage and easy handling of purified water.
This jug collects filtered water after the reverse osmosis process and serves as a convenient, removable container for daily use. It can be easily taken out of the device for cleaning, disinfection, or direct access to purified water.
The design allows users to maintain full control over the purified water supply while ensuring hygienic handling and simple maintenance outside the main system housing.
Integrated level detection sensors monitor the fill status of the jug and communicate directly with the system display, ensuring continuous operational awareness.
Filter Replacement & Maintenance
The Biella system is designed for simple and user-friendly maintenance, with clearly defined filter replacement intervals and intuitive system notifications. Filter status is continuously monitored by the integrated system, and replacement alerts are displayed directly on the smart touch screen to ensure timely maintenance and consistent water quality.
- The PCB 5-in-1 Hybrid Filter is typically replaced every 6 to 12 months, depending on water quality and usage conditions.
- The RO membrane has a longer service life, with a replacement interval of approximately 12 to 24 months or up to around 4,000 liters of purified water production.
