This dirt filter is a smart addition to protect your faucet. By installing this dirt filter, the water is filtered before flowing through it. Particles that would otherwise damage the high gloss polished ceramic discs of the cartridge inside your tap are filtered out. The maintenance of the filter is particularly easy, as the filter unit can be removed without tools, but with a simple coin, and it is not necessary to disassemble the connecting pipes.
