Materials Approved. Standards Exceeded.

We exclusively use materials listed and approved by the German Federal Environment Agency (UBA) and strictly comply with all German regulations for materials in contact with drinking water.

But compliance is only the starting point.

For decades, we have deliberately gone beyond regulatory requirements, because waiting for standards to change has never been our philosophy.

Since 2017, we have used brass with a lead content below 0.25%, years before this threshold became mandatory in 2022.

In 2025, we took the next step: 100% lead-free brass fittings, without exception.

We do not adapt to future regulations.
We anticipate them.

Surgical-Grade Stainless Steel. Without Compromise.

With our stainless steel taps, we push excellence even further.

We exclusively use V4A stainless steel (AISI 316L) commonly known as surgical steel, a material trusted in medical instruments for its exceptional resistance, purity and biocompatibility.

Our proximity to Tuttlingen, the global center of surgical instrument manufacturing, gives us direct access to specialized expertise and highly qualified professionals. This knowledge is embedded in every stainless steel tap we produce.

One Material. One Purpose. Pure Water.

All VZFX stainless steel models are manufactured entirely from V4A stainless steel: internal pipes, valves, connectors and all components that can technically be made from stainless steel.

We deliberately avoid mixing metals.

Laboratory technology clearly demonstrates that combining different metals in contact with water can cause ionic exchange, leading to material migration into drinking water.

Many competitors use multiple metals within the same tap.
Others rely on V2 / AISI 304 stainless steel, often combined with so-called nickel slinger fittings materials with a high nickel content that can negatively affect water quality.

For individuals with nickel sensitivities, this is not a detail. It is a risk.
At Viziotechnik, it is eliminated by design.
