First Installation

If you have just purchased a VIZIO tap, we recommend downloading and reading the manual below to learn useful information for installing and correctly using your new tap.

The installation manual applies to all our VIZIO taps.

GENERAL INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR ALL VIZIO TAPS

This manual explains how to install the tap components and perform maintenance. It also includes all the technical drawings.

How to install and secure a new VIZIO tap?

The first thing to do after removing the tap from the packaging is to tighten the mounting stem to the tap. To do this, hold the tap with one hand and tighten the stem with the other hand until it stops turning. This ensures that the stem is fully secured to the tap.

Check that the flexible hoses are tightly secured, but do not overtighten them — just make sure they are properly screwed in.

Place the tap in the sink hole and position yourself under the sink to proceed with the installation of the mounting system.

Insert the black gasket and then the steel disc so that they rest underneath the kitchen sink. Insert the mounting collar and hand-tighten it all the way.

Once it is sufficiently tight, secure everything by tightening the two screws on the collar with a Phillips screwdriver.

Regular maintenance
  1. Clean the aerator with a 50/50 mixture of vinegar and water.
      1. Unscrew the aerator following the instructions for your specific kitchen mixer (you can download a manual from this page, just check the section GENERAL INSTRUCTION MANUAL FOR VIZIO FAUCETS).
      2. Fill a cup with half water and half vinegar and fully immerse the aerator. Be careful NOT to immerse the chrome parts as you may damage the faucet's finish.
      3. Let it soak overnight to dissolve all stains and dirt. Leave the aerator submerged in this mixture for at least 6-12 hours, depending on the level of limescale in your area.
      4. Once the limescale is removed, rinse thoroughly with clean running water and then screw it back in.
    1. Clean the dual-spray showerhead
      1. To clean the dual-spray showerhead of your kitchen faucet, follow the instructions in the IMG file available for download here.
      2. To remove stains or dirt, first rinse with clean water and then use a 50/50 mixture of vinegar and water. Only immerse the plastic parts in this solution. PLEASE, DO NOT IMMERSE METAL PARTS IN THE VINEGAR SOLUTION AS IT MAY DISCOLOR THE SURFACE.
      3. After finishing, rinse with clean water and reassemble the aerator as described in the instructions.
