We only use materials authorized in the Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN) list. We strictly adhere to the requirements of the German regulation for materials in contact with drinking water. For many years, we have been pioneers in the use of metals that far exceed current regulations. For example, since 2017, we have been using brass with a lead content below 0.25% — anticipating regulatory provisions that will only come into effect in 2022. Currently, we are making further progress by producing all brass fittings this year with a lead content of 0%. Therefore, instead of waiting for healthier standards to be imposed, we are always one step ahead, aiming for excellence!
Regarding stainless steel taps, we further exceed conventional standards. We use V4A stainless steel or, according to the American designation, AISI 316L. This material is commonly known as surgical stainless steel for its use in biomedical applications. Our proximity to Tuttlingen, the world capital of surgical instruments, allows us to easily benefit from specialized expertise and qualified personnel.
Stainless steel taps marked with the code VZFX are made entirely of V4A stainless steel, including internal pipes, valves, and all other components that can be manufactured from this material. We prefer to use a single type of material because we recognize from laboratory studies that using two different metals in a liquid could cause ion exchange. This phenomenon could lead to substance migration and metal absorption into drinking water. In contrast, some of our competitors use at least two different metals in their taps, while others even resort to "nickel slinger" fittings with V2 stainless steel, also known as AISI 304 steel, which has a high nickel content, an element that can negatively affect the quality of drinking water, particularly exposing people allergic to nickel to risk.
It is important to emphasize that we are the only manufacturer able to provide this detailed information, as many of our competitors are primarily focused on sales, design and profit. For us at VIZIO, people's health is paramount.
Taps vary based on the specific needs of your kitchen. They are divided into different categories to suit various situations. If you have a window behind the sink and are concerned that the tap may be an obstacle, you may need to opt for an under window kitchen tap. Otherwise, you can choose a standard tap.

It depends on the kitchen tap you want to buy. If it is an Under Window Kitchen Tap, there is a dedicated category for Under Window Kitchen Taps 60 mm – Left Side Lever - Unfortunately, Under Window Kitchen Taps 45 mm mm cannot be installed with the handle on left side.
No, we absolutely do not recommend installing accessories on our underwindow Kitchen Taps with folding spout because, since they are special products and have been carefully designed in every detail, adding unexpected weight to the spout could irreparably damage the faucet's folding-down system. So if you have or want to purchase an underwindow kitchen tap with folding spout (such as art. VZSU010100, VZSU010200 or similar), it is strongly discouraged to install accessories such as an additional hand spray / shower. It is recommended to regularly check and clean the faucet aerator, based on the amount of limescale or dirt present in the water. This component may become clogged due to sand or other particles in the water network. To perform this operation, you can use the appropriate key included in the faucet packaging, if necessary.
For most of our faucets, we use NEOPERL COIN SLOT aerators, which make the use of the plastic key, often prone to loss, unnecessary.
Removing limescale from the aerator is a simple operation: immerse the plastic core in a solution composed of equal parts vinegar and water for several hours, then rinse thoroughly and reassemble.
For faucet cleaning, it is recommended to use water and soap to protect the gaskets and moving parts. After cleaning, dry thoroughly with a towel or microfiber cloth. In case of limescale stains, it is important to remove them promptly as they could promote bacterial growth and damage the faucet's surface and structure. Treat the surface with care, as you would with a car paint, to keep the faucet shiny and bright over time.
Items currently unavailable or out of stock are usually restarted in production. The time required for this process can vary depending on the type of product, especially if it requires specific colorations or processes. Our taps, like all products in the European Union, are covered by a 2-year factory warranty. This warranty concerns the normal operation of the product and covers replacement in case of manufacturing defects with a new item. Damaged or non-functioning components can be replaced individually. However, please note that the warranty does not cover wear and tear parts, such as ceramic disc cartridges and washers, whose lifespan depends solely on water quality, as well as aerators.
It is important to emphasize that we do not apply profit margins on spare parts, as we consider such practice unethical. The prices of spare parts are calculated based on actual costs. For example, the cost of a ceramic disc cartridge ranges from €6,00 to €9,00 depending on the model.
Shipping and Delivery
Orders are typically shipped on the same day or the next business day after payment of the order. Delivery times range from 2 to 3 business days from the time the package leaves our warehouse.
We only ship via express courier. For Germany and Italy, the shipping cost is €8 per item, for the rest of Europe, the cost is approximately €15 per item. For the rest of the world, the price varies depending on the individual country.
Yes, we ship worldwide except for some countries. Rates vary depending on the shipping country and the quantity of products ordered.
In the case of a damaged order, it is advisable to accept the shipment with reservation if the box appears damaged. Subsequently, before proceeding with the opening of the package, it is recommended to take as many photos as possible of the outer packaging and then of the product inside. If the outer packaging appears intact but the product is damaged, it is necessary to send photos of the product and the inside of the package to [email protected]. Please note that if a customer refuses delivery for reasons of a change of mind or other frivolous reasons, and this has not been previously agreed upon with VIZIO, the costs related to shipping, return, and repackaging will be deducted from the refund.
NOTE: We cannot accept returns of products that have been used and/or connected to the water supply. Considering the nature of SANITARY HYGIENIC products, a used product is not eligible for the right of withdrawal.
According to current legal provisions, the customer has the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving the product.
If a customer has made multiple purchases with a single order and these have been delivered separately, the 14-day period starts from the date of receipt of the last product.
If a product has been used and connected to the water network, it cannot be returned. As products in contact with drinking water, if connected to the water network, they are considered contaminated, and therefore the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised.

It's always important to indicate your order number or invoice number and the reason for wanting to proceed with the return. You have 14 days to withdraw from the purchase, provided that the product has not been used. As already explained above, products in contact with drinking water, once proven to have been used or connected to the water network, are considered contaminated and therefore the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised.
Refunds are typically processed approximately 14 days after receiving your product at one of our warehouses. The refund is issued to the payment method chosen at the time of order.
