These patented connectors are quickly explained: The standard Flexible hoses (which are all made with brass parts) are left out completely and only these stainless steel connectors are screwed in, where you can then use a plug-in adapter to connect the plastic hose from the filter directly to the fitting. So you have no contact of the water with other metals except AISI316 V4 surgical steel!
